Curing My Hair Loss
I perpetually knew that hair loss would happen to me when I am older but never imagined that it would happen to me at such an early age. I was surprised to discover that my hairline was receding shortly ahead my thirtieth birthday. I couldn’t believe I was losing my hair. I was also starting to lose hair on the back of my head.
For the first time in my life, I felt old. I felt like the best years of my life were behind me. I even stopped seeing other people. My love life was nearly non-existent. There was one girl I had been dating nonchalantly and even though I liked her, I just stopped returning her calls. I figured that I hadn’t found the woman of my dreams with a full head of hair so there was no way I was going to find someone with my growing bald spot. I was too discouraged to even try having a loving kinship.
Hair loss turned me into a depressed loner, I used to be a confident and extroverted person. I was very assured to address the issue and get the problem fixed. I started trying several hair loss treatments that are accessible over the counter. Nothing that I got from the pharmacy worked and believe me, I tried them all. After that, I just stopped trying for a while. It was a real low point in my life. I even stopped going out with my friends, I was so demoralized.
Fortunately, one night a good friend of mine took me out for a few beverages. Throughout the night, he observed was I looked a little down. It took him a little while to figure out why. He told me about the hair loss studio in the city. My friend had gone there for hair loss treatments and had been impressed with the results. I was even more impressed. I wouldn’t have thought that he had endured from hair loss, he had a full head of hair. He made me promise to give them a go and I agreed.
I could not have been happier with the hair loss studio recommended to me. After just a few hair loss treatments, I had a full head of hair again. Hair Loss Studio did not just give me my hair back. They gave me my self-confidence back.

Female Breast Reconstruction After Weight Loss Surgery
In my pre-surgical consultation for gastric bypass weight loss surgery I remember asking my surgeon “will I lose my breasts?” He assured me, yes indeed, I would lose my breasts. Nine months and 100 pounds later they were gone. I was embarrassed by my after WLS breasts, now deflated skin balloons hanging low on my chest. My breasts - my sexual pride and joy for so many years - were now ugly sloppy flaps of skin. I loathed my trimmed down naked boy-body. Something had to be done.
First effort: I increased my exercise: bench presses and butterflies. That didn’t help. Any exercise that works the pectoral muscles will help tone the chest, but not the breasts. Breasts are not muscle tissue, they are fatty tissue, and therefore do not respond to weightlifting or resistance exercise of any type.
Second effort: I tried some rub-in creams ordered from the back of a fashion magazine. They promised to grow my breasts by two cup sizes. The promise was a lie; don’t waste your money.
Last step: Consult with the plastic surgeon. He congratulated my weight loss, complimented my muscle tone (I really did do a lot of resistance exercise) and then he suggested mammoplasty & augmentation. He would take my deflated skin balloons, put them back front and center where they belonged and inflate them with implants. I was about 18 months out of surgery and had maintained my weight loss for two or three months. I felt confident the time was right to get on with the “finishing touches.”
The surgery was done under general anesthesia in surgical suite at the plastic surgeon’s office. He removed excess skin, lifted my nipples and repositioned them and inserted implants beneath the pectoral muscles. He closed the area with surgical tape and bound me in a surgical support bra. After I was awake from the anesthesia my husband took me home to rest and recover.
There was a great deal of pain from the muscles being lifted and moved in surgery. Also, the weight of the implants seemed great on my chest. Sitting was the most comfortable position. Lying down or standing caused discomfort. I took prescription pain medication for six days and then over-the-counter pain medicine for another two weeks. At first the breasts didn’t look normal (what’s normal about implants?) and I had the equivalent of breast postpartum sadness asking repeatedly “What have I done to my body?”
However, as the pain subsided so did my sadness or regret. My new breasts settled nicely onto my new small body and to this day I do not regret the procedure. I feel like a sexy, curvaceous woman - the woman I never thought I’d become.
For a detailed explanation of breast augmentation I recommend this article by Kimberly A. Henry, MD and Penny S. Heckaman WebMD Medical Reference from “The Plastic Surgery Sourcebook” found at www.webmd.com
“Breast augmentation, or augmentation mammoplasty, has become one of the most frequently requested plastic surgery procedures by women of all ages. It is most commonly performed to increase the size of small breasts, correct a difference in size between the breasts, and for breast reconstruction following mastectomy for breast cancer. A breast implant is inserted either behind the breast tissue of each breast or behind the pectoralis major muscle, the major muscle of the chest wall, thereby increasing the size of the breast.”

Choosing A Hair Removal System
So many stray hairs, so little time to tweeze all of them! So goes the problem of every John and Jane who are not satisfied with some unsightly hair that grows in certain body parts.
People who get annoyed with their unsightly stray hairs do everything to get rid of them including painful tweezing and waxing and even threading. Others opt for the bleaching remedy to keep these unsightly hairs from being the center of anyone’s attention.
A person’s “hair-possibilities”, meaning the maximum number of hair gland cells you are going to have in your lifetime, is already determined from birth. This is the reason why people who have more or less hair should blame it on genetics.
Except for hairs located in a person’s head, lashes or eyebrows, the hair glands actually produced very thin hairs that are barely seen. As a person grows older, usually during and after the adolescent stage, he can find more hair growing in his body particularly in the underarm and in the genitals.
While men usually consider having lesser hair a problem, females find the growth of more hair particularly in their underarm, legs and face more problematic. For one, these stray hairs are not only unsightly but they also tend to project females who have them as more masculine. Women who have moustache-like hair on their upper lip sometimes resort to drastic measures to contain the hair growth.
There are various ways to temporarily stop hair growth like tweezing, cutting, threading and waxing. Some people associate new and thicker hair growths due to these processes. However, such belief is not true because hair growth is influenced by hormones and there is no way tweezing can induce more hair growth.
Waxing and threading can be expensive when you have it done in a beauty parlor. It can also be embarrassing for first-timers who have to expose all the stray hairs that have grown in the wrong places. A lot of do-it-yourself products are now available in the market to help vain men and women get rid of their unsightly hairy problems.
These products are easy to find and they can be bought without prescriptions in groceries and pharmacies. People can now choose from a variety of foam, gel, cream or liquid hair removal products. Most are easy to apply except waxing products which require a certain level of experience and skill. For those who have the time and the budget, they can go to dermatologist clinics where they can avail of electrolysis and laser removal treatments.
Before undergoing these hair removal methods, you must make sure that the person who will do the procedure is a certified one and that the clinic has the necessary first aid supplies in case of burning. Hair removal methods are usually safe when performed by doctors but it is better to be cautious since there are people who really end up with burned legs after having their leg hairs removed.
Of course if you do not want to spend more or face the consequences of getting burned, you can still get rid of your unsightly hairs by resorting to the age-old technique of shaving.

Ways of Using Your PRO NYLON HAIRBRUSH
There is an art to choosing and using the perfect PRO NYLON
HAIRBRUSH. Different hair types have different product and brush
needs, so do different styles and cuts. You can either choose a
brush depending on your style, your style depending on your
brush, or have some brushes that will serve both purposes.
To choose the PRO NYLON HAIRBRUSH that is right for you, first
consider your hair type. Thick hair will not need the same brush
as fine hair. A brush that is round or slightly round is ideal
for use while blow drying your hair. Also, you may decide to use
a brush with a different material. Talk to your stylist or ask
someone from the beauty supply store which type is ideal for
you. Once you choose your brush, there are a few things to learn
before you brush your hair. In general, always brush gently.
Never pull or rip. If there are large knots in your hair, apply
a detangling product before you brush, or gently work through
the knot with a wide-toothed comb. If you are still having
trouble brushing gently, perhaps you should consider trying
another brush style or detangling with a wide toothed comb
before you brush. Techniques that help enhance shine and
softness include bending from the waist and brushing from the
roots, brushing hair before showering, and brushing hair before
you go to sleep.
A good style always starts with a good PRO NYLON HAIRBRUSH or a
brush with another material. Choose your style either by
searching through magazines or asking for advice. Once your
style is chosen, find the best tools that will best execute the
style. For example, if you want to straighten your hair with a
blow dryer, a large, round brush is ideal. If you want to leave
your hair natural, brush it after it is dry.
You not only need to find the perfect PRO NYLON HAIRBRUSH, but
also the best styling products. Just like the perfect tools can
enhance your style and allow for more styling options, so can
the best products. There are anti-frizz creams and serums,
mousses, gels, sprays, setting lotions, curl boosters, etc.
There are even special products designed to help leave your hair
“natural”. Does it all seem confusing? Magazines have product
reviews and you can always ask your stylist or beauty supply
store clerk. Some shops let you return a product if you’ve tried
it and had no success. So, there are a few steps to creating the
perfect hair style. The first is finding the best PRO NYLON
HAIRBRUSH for your hair type and needs. Then choose your
hairstyle and the best way to execute it using the best tools
and appropriate products. Every style seems to have a designated
product and tool, even when you decide to leave your hair
natural. If you need some extra help, you can always ask your
stylist for advice.
Why I Have a Beard
Some old men have a beard. Such are called lazy old men.
Only a few women have beards. They are called freaks. They are of course not freaks. Women can make money growing a beard. Women who want to grow beards to earn money at a circus sideshow should try Rogaine®. Try not to get it into your eyes. Don’t forget that sideshow gals winter in Florida.
If a man has a beard, he doesn’t have to shave if he grows a mustache to go with it. With no mustache, he has only a small patch to shave. He can shave that with the little electric razor they gave him when he was last in the hospital.
Young men with beards must keep them trim and tidy unless they live here in Idaho and work at home on the farm where cows and hogs have no interest in beards. Old men never have to trim their beards unless their wife makes them.
My son and I know that beards are important in winter.
He knows better than I do.
In ten-below-weather he is the one out in a dairy corral standing behind the cows. His feet are slipping around on frozen cow manure. His arm is up to the shoulder in a cow in the pregnancy-check position.
In the winter, my son can preg-check a string of 300 cows much faster than in the summer. In the winter the only thing that is warm is the arm he has stuck in the cow.
That’s why my son likes a beard in the wintertime.
A few years ago my son was called to a church position that required that he not wear a beard. He showed the local leaders pictures of early important church leaders with beards a foot long. That didn’t work. Then he said that he was over 30-years-old and had to wear a beard in the tradition of his early Jewish forbearers. They said that his Welch and English ancestry was most likely not Jewish and that he would have to get rid of the beard.
He froze his poultices off that winter.
With all that, it’s time to tell you why I grow a beard. Here are my reasons:
1.I’m a lazy old men.
2.It keeps my face warm in the winter (especially if I’m indoors).
3.My wife likes it. Other women say that they like it too while shaking their heads.
4.Some men like it except the ones who can not grow a decent beard. These are the local Piute Indians and the Chinese guy down the street that serves the “Ptomaine Special.”
5.It proves I can grow hair other than in my ears and my nose.
6.Squirrels have a place to hide their nuts.
7.It is a haven for small song birds that eat the crumbs my beard collects when I eat. Last year I counted 17 species of warbler. One was a (rare in these parts) Cerulean Warbler.
8.It gives me something to tug on while I’m having deep thoughts or making grandiose plan.
9.It sops up my drool.
10.It’s the only thing that I can do that my wife can’t (without Rogaine®.)
There are pitfalls of having a beard. You must watch what you are doing when you are cutting your own hair. Last summer I was cutting my hair when I noticed that a small lawn mower had passed through my beard leaving a swath not easily repaired. I tried to balance the beard, first on one side and then on the other. Pretty soon I had no beard left to repair.
I suggest you have your wife cut your hair.
